How I love thee let me count the ways
Spiced Blackberries.
Perfect for over ice cream or on toast on those lazy sunday mornings.
In a pot I threw in 2 pounds of black berries and a couple cinnomon sticks and cloves.
Then you add some apple cider vinager and let it boil
Canvas Pocket Purse
This took me all of ten minutes to do and it’s a nice little night on the town purse.
What you will need:
-A piece of canvas 12×12 (I got mine in the scrapbook section in Michael’s)
-Sewing machine
-Velcro
– Hot glue gun and glue
-Button
Instructions:
I first folded five inches of the canvas, pattern facing pattern.
I stitched each side as picture shows to create the pocket.
Then turn right side out.
I then made stitched all the way around the “hood” of the purse to create seemless lines.
Then I hot glued the velcro on.
Lastly I sewed on my button set to give it a fancier look.
Stove…
First things first: I love taxidermy. I know i’m odd. But I find it so fascinating.
Not because I’m all for killing aniamls or anything.
But I find it a magical phenomenon.
Something once so alive, now starkly hanging on a wall looking alive and yet lifeless.
It’s a surreal thing for me.
So when I walked into this restaurant in all it’s quirk-glory to find it covered in taxidermy I was elated!
Then to add amazing cheese platters, Sam Smith oatmeal stouts and sea salt chcolate tortes were like glorious cherries on top of this memory!
Oh man was I a happy girl!
