Flowers

I have been loving buying flowers for my home as of late, arranging them and seeing their life every morning.

It’s been a season of life, enjoying the small things and building excitment for my favorite things coming

FALL.

I have so many FUN idea’s and travel plans and I’m just so jazzed about my future!

xoxox See you tomorrow for (Slices of Life)…

First Fall Feeling.

Officially fall is still a few weeks away, but a date doesn’t stop me from feeling it.

The air allowed  bits of crispness to sneak out making my fingers cold.

After a day of park adventures with kids who were a bit naughty yet still magical,

Coffee talks and forest wanderings with an incredible friend,

We nestled inside to watch (A Nightmare Before Christmas) to embrace the fall spirit completely.

Slices of Life (Sunday’s)

My hotel in Houston…

Walking down the terminal I heard the most lovely music drifting above the hustle.

Eugene sat focused and enthralled with his passion despite the hundreds of people.

The best way to enjoy a layover.

One of my favorite tree’s at sunrise. A photo in my journal.

My room!!!

What the earth gave me.

It’s begins in total darkness.

Light creeps through the trees.

Peering over its tips. Soft and subtle.

Everything seems to grow.

Grow in color. Grow in life.

The air becomes heavy with humidity.

And then she BURSTs forth.

Light running wild across the field.

Clouds held in her grasp.

Lavender and apricot.

Swirling, mingling, delighting our hearts.

( A cold cup of coffee at my feet nearly neglected. Pictures of fog engulfing tire swings and wooded backdrops captured my heart. Every beat woven with the contentment of beauty.)

The blue moon sinking behind silhouetted tree’s. Goodbye 22 Hello 23.

Sun Dress out of an old skirt!

My sister made this darling sun dress out of a thrifted adult skirt!

Its a perfect light grey and airy fabric. Just right for the end of summer turning into fall.

Throw a sweater on and some patterned tights and it transcends season’s so easily!

Also she has a great easy tutorial on how to make graphic shirts from freezer stencils.
