It was a fever ray and dj shadow type of day.

The sort of day that made me long for summer nights that never end.

This is coming from the woman with which fall is her lover

and ,summer is like a mother-in-law with whom I tolerate.

The breeze was glorious… The sunset even more glorious…

Adventuring with my mint haired maiden was just what I needed!

We went to Sea Shore State Park. The swamp covered in sugar. The water frozen over in varying grey’s.

The moss hanging like chandeliers above our wondering heads.

We walked for hours, the snow crunching softly beneath our feet.

I had neatly folded you away.

Yet with one concrete stare I have come undone.

No man has ever stood as tall as you have in my heart.

Now I am left worried and bare.
