Substance.
That’s what flutters into my mind when I think of this lovely print.
Amulet activates your being.
Mind…
Body…
and
Soul…
Filled to the brim with artists that will make you swoon and ignite something deep within you to live
more authentically,
more fully,
more engaged.
Not because your lacking or doing anything wrong.
It doesn’t have a bone in it’s body that leaves you deflated after reading.
Just very very full.
Like a hearty meal.
The kind where you kinda want more.
Okay you will defiantly want more!
Because that is just the kind of savory goodness they have made.
I had the amazing opportunity to be published along side Stacy De la Rosa, Katariina Fagering, Rachael Rice and Isabel Abbott.
Just to name a few of the rich, sexy, inspiring woman who helped cook up Amulet Sping 2014 issue!
A special thanks to Mary Beth Bonfiglio and Danielle Cohen for creating such a yummy platform for us all to gather and enjoy!
Maybe… Just maybe, you will fall in love with these woman and what they do like I have!
Spend some time over a cup of tea looking at all they have to offer and grab an issue of Amulet while your there!

All the whiskey drinking, art making, soul searching, sea seeing, led me straight to you.
San Fran gave me the courage to pursue my dreams and the permission to fall in love with him.
Thanks for giving me a brave heart dear city.

The throes of winter are dying hard.
Teasing,
Dipping,
Dancing,
the sunlight warmed me briefly,
then, like a fickle lover, disappeared.
“Lets recognize the signs of renewal in our lives .
Lets be committed to the continuation of our growth.
I believe it is time to grow beyond our former limitations, cleansing the frozen places by loving them equally.
When you love all of life equally, renewal is at hand.”
– Jamie Sams (Earth Medicine)
(My second month of Agony of Leaves by the lovely Lindsay Luna included three teas the one shown above is fittingly called “Pocket full of posies”.)

My lovely little sugar plum,
My how you have grown!
Each day your smile sparkles with the pureness of your heart.
You have a gentle nurturing spirit.
You radiate goodness.
I pray that everyday we as your family speak life and identity into your perfect beautiful body.
I pray that you grow so strong and yet ever vulnerable.
That you know you don’t need to be loud to be seen.
You have a way all your own to capture all of our attention and I love this about you!
Happy Birthday my little sugar plum!
