Time to TOUCH souls.

I remember the time you told me “Love is touching souls.”

But surely you touched mine, cause part of you pours out of me in these lines from time to time.

-James Blake

This song has played 7 times already. The rain falling, gliding out of the grey haze.

Pulling myself to walk in joy. Leaves crackling and crumbling across the parking lot.

Minutes seem like hours these days. SO packed with seeds of my future.

It’s a constant opening of my hand. Every minute RELEASING.

RE-LE-SING

I put on this gentle song and sang in the coming storm.

Love is touching souls…

And hands were made for letting go of control.

Date night…

A night out with my beautiful momma and best friend!

We ate German, laughed and went to a concert! x0x

England in Autumn

Something about autumn never ceases to fill up my spirit.

I have been so blessed to start off this season in England and France.

So many of my very favorite things were all spun into one brilliant trip.

I spent an enchanting weekend painting with woman from all around the world. Constantly being romanced by all the heart shaped nature I discovered.

I got to drink coffee with my best friend all over Europe. We were adventurous in our coffee tastings. Our favorite was a carmel latte near the London Eye. If possible only trying the local coffee stops.

I  roamed book store after book store, of course purchasing a few neglected vintage ones for my journaling! I got to use my nifty polaroid for the first time really. The expired film made each polaroid like a “treasure surprise” as it developed. I also visited  the graves of my literary hero’s in Westminster Abbey.

But most of all I got to “feel” England and France.

Travel to me is like a love affair. It is such a blissful unruly thing. Constantly surprising and maybe frustrating you! Each new step to me really is a magic all it’s own. I was made to travel. I was made to move. I love the elegant and unlovely parts of countries alike, each with it’s own sets of joy!

Something in me comes alive when I travel.

Words are less necessary than ever and all that matters is my senses to take it all in!

Falling

I’m sitting outside with my homemade peppermint mocha, dogs cuddled up to my legs.

Chicken noodle soup cooking in the kitchen and the minutes ticking away before work arrives.

The sky is such a tranquil shade and the thyme shivers in the autumn wind.

Florence and the machine is my sound track to this moment: Falling.

I’v had so many falling moments in the past few years. When It was all bliss until little did I know I would hit the ground.

But I have this blissful excitment that this season isn’t the same.

I just got back from Europe and my heart is so full of hunger for adventure!

I’m so thankful to all the woman who have been apart of my healing.

I love you so much. Wether I knew you for a short weekend or my whole life!

I owe it to you WOMAN, who have helped guide me through the “fallings” of life.

I have scraps and wounds like any little kiddo, but i’m getting ready to run and ride and skip despite the shaky fear!

So thank you my beautiful loves!

P.s. There have been a few men too! ;) I would never forget about you!

Wild Soul

Hopefully my song bird doesn’t mind that I adore her so MUCH I had to share her blog!

Introducing: Madelyn Mulvaney

A incredible beauty for many reason that would take up pages upon PAGES. But for starters she is an incredible writer and photographer, that just cuddles your heart and walks you straight into her would.

I had the immense pleasure of spending several day’s in the English country side of Somerset with her at the (Call of the wild soul retreat.)

She led a course called (Persisting soul) and took us on rich photo walks full of juicy surprises! Including our friend John Turner I posted about before. We meandered the countryside and allowed the earth to fill our buckets of creativity. Once we had returned we filled our cups many times with the inspiration and drank wildly.
